Watch & Pray, Be Bold in the Lord!

“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;”
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭4:1-2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

A narcissistic wolf in sheep’s clothing; Who has neither the character nor the integrity to ‘Make America Great Again!’ A Brood of Vipers spouting ‘Alternative Facts’ deceiving even the elect, whose itching ears have turned away from truth unto fables. Repent, and believe the gospel!

Believers, followers of Jesus Christ are admonished in the Word of God to pray for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty – (Read 1 Timothy 2:1-6). Paul also prayed for a spirit of boldness, so that when the time came to preach the gospel of grace and truth he would speak the uncompromising Word of God boldly as a righteous man ought to. This is not the time to shrink back from the faith of Christ, but to remain steadfast, empowered by who Jesus is and what He preached, taught, and demonstrated – do the greater works!

There is no separation of church and state, there is only good and evil, righteousness and unrighteousness, truth and ‘alternative facts’. We believe and therefore we speak – “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He chose for His inheritance”, (Read Psalm 33:12). Believe the Bible and uphold the Truth, as the Truth is only in Jesus.

Speak, live and obey Truth, not a unrighteous political regime having a form of godliness but denying its power. Turn away from such as these!

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, Amen.

Fear Not – Believe Only!

For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.  2 Timothy 1:7

Beloved keep your focus on Jesus, the author and the finisher of your faith – Trust in Him! The world needs to see the power of God through our faith in Jesus Christ, we cannot allow fear to contaminate our most holy faith, that’s what the devil wants. Do not give him any place in your life – God is moving, fear not and believe only.

For those who hope in Christ this is our finest hour. Rejoice, stand firm, let nothing move you, always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.

Does the plan you’ve made for your life agree with God’s vision and purpose?

Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails. Proverbs 19:21

God’s purpose is revealed to us by His Spirit. His foreordained plan for our lives in Christ was placed in our hearts before the foundation of the world. In His vision we are a finished work – His masterpiece!

What’s in a Name?

You’ve been given the authority to use the name of JESUS here in the earth. This is how we transact business, ruling and reigning through Him that loved us and gave Himself up for us. JESUS has overcome the world, the devil is defeated, powerless, and trembles at the name of JESUS, you already have the victory stop toiling.

Child of light you are not subject to this world, your citizenship is in heaven you are royalty. You have an assignment in this world, you are not of this world. All power and authority has been given unto JESUS in heaven and earth. The name of JESUS has been given to you, take ownership of it and yield the power of God by faith in the sword of the Spirit in the name of JESUS.

The power in the name of JESUS will put demons to flight, give strength to one born lame and cause him to jump and leap and praise the Lord. It is the name of JESUS, and through faith in that name that we dominate in this world.

Matthew 28:18; Mark 16:17; Acts 3:1-16

Have Faith in God

If you had faith as a grain of mustard seed, you would say...

And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet. And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.
[Mark 11:13-14]

You may be thinking, well, it wasn’t time for figs. I thought that initially until I did a little digging and found that the fruit on a fig tree generally appears before the leaves. What intrigued me most was the Lord’s response, “And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.” [Mark 11:14] He’s talking to a tree! From a distance the tree appeared to be fruitful, with its beautiful leaves and stately presence but it like the condition of the nation of Israel at that time, was barren.

“No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever.” Immediately, what came to my mind was John 12:49, For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. Throughout the gospels, Jesus acknowledged, the Son can do nothing of Himself; my teaching is not my own it comes from the One who sent me; I do nothing on my own but speak just what the Father has taught me; the words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority rather it is the Father living in me who is doing his work. [John 12:49, John 5:19, John 7:16, John 8:28, John 14:10, John 14:24] I could continue but I think it’s clear that the words He spoke to the fig tree were what He heard from the Father.

Like everything God does, this exchange between the Lord and the fig tree was intentional as well as instructional.  And his disciples heard it. And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away. [Mark 11:14, 21] Imagine seeing and hearing the Lord curse this enormous fig tree and less than twenty-four hours later that same fig tree is withered from the roots, dead. Use the image of the fig tree posted with the article, close your eyes and visualize this same tree withered away from the roots. The Lord merely spoke words to it – or were they just words? We speak words all the time often without consequence or real concern for what they will produce – yet Jesus said in Matthew 12:36, But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken.

Jesus not only spoke to a tree but to storms, He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. [Mark 4:39] Then turned to His disciples and said to the them,“Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” [Mark 4:40] Eerily similar to “Have faith in God.” And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. [Hebrews 11:6] Embracing this God-life requires faith, faith to think, speak and act like God; I don’t know who said it, but truly, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. As children of God, it’s in our born-again spiritual DNA to behave like God, Jesus clearly demonstrated this to us quite powerfully.

After Peter and the disciples marveled over the fig tree, Jesus answered saying to them, Have faith in God. [Mark 11:22] How do you develop faith in God? The bible says, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. [Romans 10:17] Hearing, reading and speaking the word of God builds faith in God and His word. Jesus said, “for the words which You gave Me I have given to them; and they received them and truly understood that I came forth from You, and they believed that You sent Me.” [John 17:8] We know from the words of Jesus Himself that He did not speak arbitrarily, His words were intentional and faith-filled.

The word of God is settled, fixed and stands firm in heaven for all eternity, it cannot be changed. God Himself has magnified His word above all His name and He is watching over His word to see that it is fulfilled. [Psalm 11:89, Psalm 138:2, Jeremiah 1:12] For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. [Mark 11:23]

Jesus, who only spoke what He heard from the Father tells us to Have faith in God, speak the word of God to the mountains and fig trees in your life, and don’t doubt it will happen, why? Because you’re not speaking empty words, you’re speaking the living word of God, believe when you speak the word of God that it will come to pass and you will have exactly what you say. God is listening for His word, He will bring it to pass in your life just like He did with Jesus.

Believers believe and speak the word of God, by faith!

As He Is, So Are We in This World

… in this world we are like Jesus. (New International Version); … we live like Jesus here in this world. (New Living Translation); … in this world we are just like Him. (Berean Study Bible); … during our time in this world, we are just like Him. (International Standard Version)

[1 John 4:17]

Beloved, you have the same Spirit as Jesus did to manifest the power of God. The bible says, whoever claims to live in Him must live as He did. [1 John 2:6] I’m just saying, we have the glory, the same spirit of faith, the same power, the same God and Father as Jesus. And… He also said, “I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are One.” [John 17:2] By the way, them is you and me.

I am so encouraged, the more I meditate on these verses the greater my motivation to live just like Jesus – full of faith and power, full of wisdom, and full of the Holy Spirit! If it were not possible to live just like Jesus during our time in this world, God would not expect us to do so. I am convicted even now, knowing the price Jesus paid for my eternal life, and my unwillingness to sacrifice it all for Him and the gospel. True sacrifice requires much more than a few church services a week and an occasional glance at the word of God – real sacrifice will cost more than you think you can afford and give you more than you could ask think or ever imagine. “Yes,” Jesus replied, “and I assure you that everyone who has given up house or wife or brothers or parents or children, for the sake of the Kingdom of God, will be repaid many times over in this life, and will have eternal life in the world to come.” [Luke 18:30]  Read more

Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm for God can be trusted to keep His promise. Hebrews 10:23 NLT
Hope is found only in the Word of God. Hope is not a feeling of expectation it is the very essence of our faith in the promises of God. We risk everything and lose nothing, trusting only in Jesus. Consider Galatians 3:29 and 18: And if you belong to Christ [if you are in Him], then you are Abraham’s descendants, and [spiritual] heirs according to [God’s] promise. [18] For if the inheritance [of what was promised] is based on [observing] the Law [as these false teachers claim], it is no longer based on a promise; however, God granted it to Abraham [as a gift] by virtue of His promise. We, being in Christ are Abraham’s descendants, spiritual heirs to God’s promises. For the promises of God in Him are yes, and in Him amen, to the glory of God by us [2 Corinthians 1:20].

The promises of God belong to the children of God. An inheritance willed by a loving Father through the precious blood of His Beloved Son; a gift only to be joyously received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. The promise of health, long life, prosperity, children, good success, land, property, reconciliation, restoration, debt cancellation, favor… belong to you, for with God nothing is impossible [Luke 1:37]. As heirs to such an abundant inheritance we must steward the promises of God with great intention, relinquishing all apprehension, by unmasking the fear that hinders faith to believe and receive all that God has stored up and keeps ready for His children. Jesus has already overcome the world; true victory is in believing.

Beloved, fear not believe only. Don’t stagger at the promises of God, the blood of Jesus, the Anointed One gives you the right to take your inheritance. James said, “… he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord” [James 1:6]. One wavers when he loosens his grip on the word of promise, permitting thoughts of doubt to betray the confidence placed in Him. The solution is to simply refocus your attention to the word-set your mind and keep it set on the promise. Though the enemy attempts to steal the word despising the will of God, be assured, the will of God is for you to prosper; in fact, your heavenly Father takes great joy in your success. Stand on the promise, we are not ignorant of the devil’s schemes [2 Corinthians 2:11]. Resist him steadfast in the faith, bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ [1 Peter 5:9; 2 Corinthians 10:5]. Believe only, align your thinking with the word and speak Truth in the face of doubt. Doubt is no match for the Truth. Enforce Christ’s victory by releasing the authority of God in power and confidently quip,… I have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows] [John 14:6; Mark 5:36; John 10:10]. Beloved, fearlessly war a good warfare from the seat of victory, at the right hand of God in Christ, clothed in the whole armor of God, stand against the opposition in the name of Jesus [1 Timothy 1:18; 1 Corinthians 15:57; Ephesians 2:6; Ephesians 6:11-18].

The just shall live by faith in Jesus. Living a lifestyle of faith requires believers to persevere in hope with an unwavering commitment to Truth irrespective of feelings. Thy Word is truth [John 17:17]. The word of God is spirit and life, the seed which contains within the spiritual DNA to manifest itself, yet without the release of faith it will not become– the word needs your voice. I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, … [Matthew 17:20] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation [Romans 10:10]. I believe and therefore I have spoken [2 Corinthians 4:13]. You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you [Job 22:28]. Give spirit permission to live in your world – speak it! Faith speaks NOW. Receive the promise, meditate it until it takes root in your heart and speak. For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks [Luke 6:45].

“I have abundance, I have favor with God and man, I am the righteousness of God in Christ, I am redeemed by the blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony, I believe I receive – I take it – I have it – I own it- it’s mine, I have the victory in Christ Jesus, all things work together for my good, I trust God to keep His promises to me…” speak the Truth!

Be patient with yourself, God is for you and He’s given the Comforter, the Holy Spirit to you. He will teach you, He will lead and guide you into all truth. Trust the Lord to reveal Himself to you through His word and as He does, you’ll find that your faith, trust and confidence will rest only in Him.

Let the word of God ignite your faith and trust in Jesus. Reading through the gospel of Matthew my attention was drawn to chapter 8 and verse 8, the Centurion said to the Master, “…speak the word and my servant shall be healed…”  There’s a great deal more to be revealed from this exchange, but “…speak the word and my servant shall be healed…”  is the chorus that melodiously sang in my spirit. Jesus considered this “Great Faith!” Seriously, this is the recipe for great faith – believe the word of God! God’s word is the highest authority in the Universe. His word created everything that exists. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made [John 1:3]. Jesus – God our Salvation upholds all things by the power of His word [Hebrews 1:3; Colossians 1:17]. The Centurion understood the authority of God’s word and acknowledged it by submitting to Him, you see, God and His word are One. God can be trusted to keep His promise to you.

As you stand under the flow of blessing, God’s favor surrounding you as a shield, declare by faith, I trust God to keep His promises to me, I have His word on it. Hold tight without wavering and rejoice. Great faith believes, receives, hopes in and speaks the Word. With God all things are possible, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever [Matthew 8:8; Matthew 19:26; Hebrews 10:23; Hebrews 13:8].

Your friend in Christ!

Your faith is priceless…

By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.  Hebrews 11:3 ESV

God’s faith filled words created the universe and He’s given you O Believer, the power to design your world; speak your destiny into existence!  The word of God contains within it the power to create itself.  Speak the word of God and let the word do the work.

God’s word is the word of faith!

By the word of the LORD were the heavens made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth. For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm. (Psalm 33:6,9 NIV)
